Kari Murray joined The Walker Team in 2025, bringing with her nearly two decades of experience in both real estate and mortgage financing. She began her career as a REALTOR® in Barrie in 2007 before earning her Mortgage Agent Licence in 2009, giving her a well-rounded understanding of every stage of the homeownership journey.

After ten successful years in real estate sales, Kari made the decision to focus exclusively on mortgages in 2017, allowing her to spend more time with her young son while continuing to do what she loves—helping people achieve their homeownership goals. Since then, she has built a reputation for her professionalism, extensive industry knowledge, and unwavering commitment to her clients. She believes every client's financial situation is unique and takes the time to explore every available option, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the financing process.

Kari's journey has taken her far beyond the mortgage industry. She spent a decade in the United Kingdom managing high-end restaurants, gaining invaluable experience in leadership and customer service, before returning to Canada to pursue a career in real estate. She has also worked in a veterinary clinic and even spent six months living in Australia. These experiences have shaped her adaptable, people-first approach and strengthened her ability to build genuine, lasting relationships with clients from all walks of life.

Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with her son, Alex, and her family. She loves travelling to adventurous destinations, tending to her garden, and embracing any opportunity to be outdoors.
